As a world-class PCB manufacturer and a cooperative citizen, Red Board promises to take an environmentally responsible approach to its operations and implement an effective Environmental Management System (EMS) in its development. In order to ensure that the environmental management system can be implemented correctly and thoroughly, Red Board's policy is to implement the following principles:
1. Red Board complies with all national and local environmental laws and regulations applicable to its operations. Red Board (Jiangxi) Ltd. strictly implements the "three simultaneity" system. The investment in environmental protection facilities of the project reaches RMB 47 million, accounting for 14.7% of the total project investment.
On March 2009 and February 2010, the company passed the environmental protection inspection and acceptance of the first and second phases of the project organized by the Jiangxi Provincial Environmental Protection Department, achieving the "three wastes" discharge standards and obtaining pollutant discharge permits.
The company passed the BM TRADA audit in February 2010 and established an environmental management system that meets the requirements of ISO14001:2004.
In July 2012, it passed the renewal audit of the LRQA authority and obtained the certification. While achieving emission standards, the company actively promotes the transformation of cleaner production technology, extensively adopts advanced online processing technology and resource regeneration technology to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction, and strives to create a "resource-saving and environment-friendly" enterprise.
2. Red Board defines its behavior to prevent environmental pollution and ensure a good working environment for employees. The company’s waste water treatment station has a designed daily waste water treatment capacity of 9750T/day. The transformed waste water treatment station has a daily treatment capacity of 5000T/day and the discharged waste water contains less than copper 0.3mg/L, which meets the requirements of the special water pollution discharge limit in Table 3 of the "Emission Standard of Electroplating Pollutants GB 21900-2008", and other pollutants are discharged up to the standard.
3. Red Board introduces "green" materials and "non-polluting" equipment technology in its operations. Red Board will introduce "green" materials and "non-polluting" equipment technologies in its operations to reduce the impact of its products and harmonization on the environment. The lowest waste, more efficient use of materials and energy and the implementation of the concept of reducing waste, so as to achieve the purpose of saving natural resources. Red Board will convey its commitment to the environmental policy to its employees, suppliers and customers and seek its continuous improvement of the environmental management system.
In the process of development and production, the company actively seeks advanced PCB waste liquid and solid waste resource technology from local and oversea. The clean production and regeneration technologies that have been adopted are as follows:
1. Extraction separation + electrolytic process is used to treat acid etching solution. While recovering the copper in the waste liquid, 70~80% of the waste liquid is reused. By adopting the etching liquid reuse system, the purpose of saving materials, reducing sewage and recycling resources is realized.
3. The use of electrolytic process with low copper content micro-etching solution reduces the concentration of the copper ion in the copper-content waste liquid to below 1g/L, and realizes 100% resource utilization of the copper-content waste liquid. After electrolytic treatment, the H2O2+H2SO4 series of micro-etching fluid can be reused in the production line; the NPS+H2SO4 series of micro-etching fluid can be used as water treatment waste acid, making full use of the neutralization of the waste acid and alkali, greatly reducing the amount of materials and reducing the cost of water treatment.
4. Using online electrolytic cyanide breaking technology + activated carbon adsorption technology to achieve discharge of cyanide waste water workshop discharge outlets up to standard, and at the same time recover precious metals in waste water.
5. Adopting resin adsorption and exchange technology to recover waste nitric acid and sulfuric acid from the rack stripping, bath leaching and acid cleaning process. The waste acid, after treatment to reduce the concentration of metal ions and impurities, is returned to the production line for recycling, saving more than 70% of materials and reducing production costs and waste water treatment loading.
6. Red Board (Jiangxi) Ltd. adopts intermittent water rinsing technology based on flight-bar operation signal control, combined with the heating of the cleaning water and strengthened stirring to achieve 20%~30% water saving efficiency; the waste water treatment station is installing a water reuse system, which can achieve 30% ~40% of the cleaning water recycled, reducing city water consumption and waste water discharge.
